Elevated Red Tail Hawk 155 Snowboard Review 2018-2019

Description

TESTER: Chris Pearson

BOARD: Elevated Red Tail Hawk 155

OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM  1 TO 7:  6

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: You can lay it all the way over without getting any toe or heel drag. None. Zero.

WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: You definitely notice the huge width when you transition from rail to rail. Well worth it for the benefits you get out of it though

OVERALL COMMENTS: Requires some real pressure to roll it over on edge but once you set your rail you’re locked in and you can feel free to just lay into the turn as far as you want with no fear of booting out. I’ve never had more fun euro-carving groomers.

RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 7:  6

ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS:  So fat. Cool pin tail and tons of taper

RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS FROM 1 TO 7:   6

STABILITY COMMENT: ROCK SOLID- AS GOOD AS IT GETS

ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: When this board is on edge it is so confidence inspiring

RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 7:  OK

COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:  Popped and ollie maybe once before I realized this thing just wants to turn. Not the board to be blasting airs on, just carve it.

RATE FLOAT IN POW FROM 1 TO 7:

COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW:

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: Wish I had a chance to find some powder on it because it looks like it should have some major buoyancy

RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 7:  5

GRAPHICS COMMENT: I’M FEELING IT

ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS: Simple, love the shaka logo
