Gentemstick Barracuda 156 (I think) SNOWBOARD REVIEW 2016

Description

TESTER: Alex Warburton

BOARD: Gentemstick Barracuda 156 (I think)

OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM  1 TO 10:  8

OVERALL COMMENTS: Great stability and solid edge hold on a relatively short and turny outline.

RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 5:     4

SHAPE COMMENT: Taro’s sidecut to nose blends are very refined and allow for a very user-friendly transition into turns. The sidecut is deep enough to give this very wide board a lively, maneuverable feel.

RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 5:     4

FLEX COMMENT: Stiffer than I thought I would have liked, but it worked very well on the hardpack, resort conditions.

RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS:    4

STABILITY THROUGH TURNS: Solid for a small board.

RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 5:    4

GRAPHICS COMMENT: Clean and polished.

RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 5:    3

COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS: The swallow tail limits this a bit. Butters, riding switch, etc…are more of a challenge.

RATE FLOAT IN POW IF AVAILABLE FROM 1 TO 5:

COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW:

ANYTHING YOU WOULD CHANGE ABOUT THIS BOARD TO MAKE IT BETTER:
