Gentemstick Hornet 150 SNOWBOARD REVIEW 2016
BOARD: Gentemstick Hornet 150
OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM 1 TO 10: 9
OVERALL COMMENTS: Love this shape! Squash tail stomps trannies and the large nose keeps you afloat in powder. Super nimble and fun on any condition. The “accelerator profile” is an awesome, far-out concept and it works like a surfboard does. Everybody is making smaller surf shapes and this one takes the cake compared to the Swift, Bean or Jone’s new mountain surfer.

RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS: 4
STABILITY THROUGH TURNS: The hornets rail hold and follow through. So fun!
RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 5: 4
GRAPHICS COMMENT: Chill
RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 5: 5
COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS: Tons of tranny popping and stomping
RATE FLOAT IN POW IF AVAILABLE FROM 1 TO 5: 4
COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: She’ll go! If it gets too deep sst her all the way back. Yoder’s recommendation for short stance hit the sweet spot with my extreme alpine stance.
