OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM  1 TO 7:  5

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: I like the larger 150 offering and the hammerhead nose.

WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: I felt a bit held in turns. BUT, I am a beginner powsurfer and have to attribute my technique to my high tomahawk numbers

OVERALL COMMENTS: Felt good in open pow at speed. Deffinatly the Pow surfer to bring out on big days for long fast runs!

RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 7:  RADICAL

SHAPE COMMENT: AT THING OF BEAUTY

ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS:  Hammerhead nose and a little sidecut make for a Pow destroyer.

RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 7:   OK

FLEX COMMENT:  JUST RIGHT

ADDITIONAL FLEX COMMENT:  Not sure how flex plays into the surf world, but is wasn’t too soft, thats for sure.

RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS FROM 1 TO 7:   RADICAL

STABILITY COMMENT: PRETTY GOOD

ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: It seems in powsurfing, when you feet aren’t attached stability is in your mind. This helped me cross trenches and felt solid at full speed.

RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 7:  OK

COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:  The 150 is def at home going fast in open terrain. Again, my own learning curve made me think I would have ben more comfortable on a MC 140, as it would have been a bit more forgiving as I tried to link turns.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY: The Powsurf revolution is upon us. As my knees get older, my mind drifts to surfing the mountains freely. Grassroots are the best surfers made. The 3d base and variety of shapes let you feel comfortable on any terrain or snowpack. Im a huge fan of the Magic Carpet and need one in my quiver for a deep day speed gun.
