Libtech TRS 162 Snowboard Review 2018-2019- Rated Radical!

Description

TESTER: Eric Odlin

BOARD: Libtech TRS 162

OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM  1 TO 10:  Radical (10)

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Favorite board ever made by a human

WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: If I had to nit-pick, I’d extend the nose a cm or two, and the waist a mm or two.

OVERALL COMMENTS: I love this board. The flex, side cut, feel, errything reflects how I was a board to perform under my feet. It truly lets me ride like my true self. Turning is especially perfect, tight enough for slow speed tooling around but solidly rails at full speed.

RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 7:  RADICAL

SHAPE COMMENT: NOT JUST GOOD BUT GOOD ENOUGH

ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS:  Typical all mountain twin

RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 7:   6

FLEX COMMENT:  JUST RIGHT

ADDITIONAL FLEX COMMENT:  Goldylocks flex, juuuuuust right.

RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS:   6

STABILITY COMMENT: PRETTY GOOD

ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: xC2 isn’t the most stable platform out there, but is is the most fun!

RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 7:  RADICAL

COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:  Ollies come off the contact points, just like they used to

RATE FLOAT IN POW FROM 1 TO 7:    OK

COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: OK

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: Libs banana tech helps tremendously with float. This stay up even though it has a fairly low nose/tail profile. Makes a divers into a dolphins.

RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 7:  RADICAL

GRAPHICS COMMENT: AESTHETIC AND INSPIRING

ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS: Nice to see Lib break from the same old TRS graphics and bring a more subdued motif. Cool color tones on pretty mountains, nice!!

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY: Best overall, do anything, won’t let you down, alway keep you up, lets you be yourself, rip everything snowboard ever made.
