OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM  1 TO 7:  7

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Great powerful deck.

WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: I don’t love the graphics, at all.

OVERALL COMMENTS: I’ll probably buy this board for my Jackson hole daily driver. Its absolutely perfect for the variable snow and terrain this mountain can give you. I’m a big guy, who hates too wide a deck. This is one of the few long boards that isn’t crazy wide. Rossi makes a wides if you need it, but my size 10.5s felt right at home on the regular XV. I started day 2 on this and couldn’t have been happier. Super stable in the upper bowl, ripped through the blown pow over bumps like no other. Floated in the deep pockets no prob, and held solid rallying haggard groomers back to the lifts. Rode switch wherever, stayed up on traverses. Checks off literally everything you need on this mountain, which means its good to go almost anywhere!! Now wonder I see it all over the place in the goodie and tram lines. I’ll be getting one for sure!! Hope fully they switch up the graphics tho, I’m not fan. It looks nice enough, but resembles ski graphics and the base int cool at all. Despite the asthetics, I need one!!!

SHAPE COMMENT: FUN TO LOOK AT

ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS:  Nice big nose, 1 cm of taper (mmmmm, just right) cool pointy nose with a hole in it for some reason, and a micro sway cut on the tail.

RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 7:   6

FLEX COMMENT:  JUST RIGHT

ADDITIONAL FLEX COMMENT:  In my testing notes I just wrote, “POWER!” Not too stiff tho.

RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS FROM 1 TO 7:  7

STABILITY COMMENT: ROCK SOLID- AS GOOD AS IT GETS

ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: Oh yeah, this has Mag Tech on the edges!! Xavier is perhaps the fastest and gnarliest guy on a board, so expect nothing less from his pro model.

COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS: PRETTY DARN FUN

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:  If JH still had a Pipe (very sad they don’t) it probs woulda worked well there too.
