OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM 1 TO 7: 7
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: the combination of taper, tail shape and camber
WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Nothing I didn’t like about the shape
OVERALL COMMENTS: Great turn initiation and edge control. I would feel comfortable riding this board in any conditions. Versatile enough to ride everday
BOARD STYLE: FREERIDE BOARD
CONDITIONS TESTED IN: HARDPACK POWDER
RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 7: 7
SHAPE COMMENT: AT THING OF BEAUTY
ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS: loved the wingpin tale combined with big taper. The board felt playful off the back foot and fun in low angle terrain. When you need to open up your turns in bigger terrain, drive the board out over the nose and you’ll have all the stability you need.
RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 7: 7
FLEX COMMENT: JUST RIGHT
ADDITIONAL FLEX COMMENT: I wouldn’t change a thing
RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS FROM 1 TO 7: 7
STABILITY COMMENT: ROCK SOLID- AS GOOD AS IT GETS
ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: camber gives you edge control, taper gives you stability
RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 7: 7
COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS: WICKED POPPY AND PLAYFUL
ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS: Lively, lightweight, quick and responsive
RATE FLOAT IN POW FROM 1 TO 7: 6
COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: EASY TO STAY UP
ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: pintail shape allows the tail to drop and pivot quickly off the back foot. The nose shape gives you just enough float and turns quickly in the powder.
RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 7: 5
GRAPHICS COMMENT: I’M FEELING IT
ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS: Maybe I need to hear the historical context of the graphic again. Love the amount of thought behind it
