WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Rails turns super hard!

WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: It locks in so powerfully on edge and it’s got such a long turning arc that it feels a little sluggish and sketchy in tight trees.

OVERALL COMMENTS: This is an awesome ride overall. Great pow board – so powerfully floaty that it was kicking me up and out of the snow on every turn on my Casper Bowl lap. Felt a little chattery in bumps and chunder, and sluggish to turn on a dime in the trees. Rad carving board on any kind of open slope – the shallow sidecut and long effective edge mean you can absolutely rail huge arcing turns absolutely horizontal to the slope. That’s where this board shines the most, and I think that’s exactly what Aaron designed it to do.

SHAPE COMMENT: AT THING OF BEAUTY

ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS:  This is a beautiful board – love the overall shape and the small pintail is a neat touch.

RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 7:   OK

FLEX COMMENT:  TOO STIFF

ADDITIONAL FLEX COMMENT:  I’d prefer a slightly softer flex on this board to make it a little more plaful/forgiving for short radius turns.

RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS FROM 1 TO 7:   6

STABILITY COMMENT: PRETTY GOOD

ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: Great stability on anything smooth. Little bit chattery on anything rough.

RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 7:  6

COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:  In deep pow this thing absolutely explodes out of the snow on every turn, which is awesome. It’ll also get up in the air and olly anywhere if you put your back into it.

COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: EFFORTLESSLY FLOATY

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: Like a dolphin playing in a boat wake.

ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS: The simple red topsheet is awesome, and I dig the Elevated logo. Serene board design.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY: I got to take a run with Aaron when we were both on this board and I gotta say that it is absolutely perfectly designed for the way he rides. Really cool to see that and understand the thought behind the board.
