Elevated Red Tail Hawk 5’1” Snowboard Review 2019-2020
Description
TESTER: Colin Woodward
BOARD: Elevated Red Tail Hawk 5’1”
TEST YEAR: 2019 SHAPERSUMMIT SNOWBOARD REVIEWS
OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM 1 TO 7: 5
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Turns flow effortlessly, even through rough terrain (as long as its soft)
WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Flat camber. Coming down the packed groomer from union lift, this board could do only one of two things. Go straight or be in a full near 90-degree skidded turn.
OVERALL COMMENTS: It excells litterally anywhere soft, but as soon as you hit the hardpack, between the flat camber and the width, snowboarding becomes close to impossible.
BOARD STYLE: POWDER BOARD
CONDITIONS TESTED IN: HARDPACK POWDER

GRAPHICS COMMENT: I’M FEELING IT
ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS: I dig the surf look, but red is a little poppy for me. (goes with the name though)
