TEST YEAR: 2019 SHAPERSUMMIT SNOWBOARD REVIEWS
OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM 1 TO 7: 6
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Camber on a unique shape.
WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: It’s orange and blue.
OVERALL COMMENTS: I didn’t expect this board to be one of my favorites but it was. The shape was obvious it would perform in pow but I didn’t expect the ride from the pow to variability to transition so well. I think that’s where the camber comes in. I’m a sucker for camber. You’d be ripping pow effortlessly and pop out in to some moguls/ variable snow and there was no difference in my exertion of energy, that’s a big deal for me. I want to go for one type of terrain to another and feel like nothing changed. This board did that.
BOARD STYLE: FREERIDE BOARD
CONDITIONS TESTED IN: HARDPACK ICE POWDER

ADDITIONAL FLEX COMMENT: Perfect medium-stiff for me.
RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS FROM 1 TO 7: 6
STABILITY COMMENT: PRETTY GOOD
ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: For a smaller shaped deck I felt it rode bigger.
RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 7: 5
COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS: OK
ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS: I didn’t expect this to be a freestyle based board. It was enough for the type of board.
RATE FLOAT IN POW FROM 1 TO 7: 6
COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: EFFORTLESSLY FLOATY
ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: If this thing didn’t float I wouldn’t been surprised.
RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 7: 2
GRAPHICS COMMENT: HARD TO LOOK AT
ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS: I think the wood thing they have going on is killer. Blue and orange seemed like a cop out.
