Gentemstick Spoon fish 152 SNOWBOARD REVIEW 2016

Description

TESTER: Peter mullenbach

BOARD: Gentemstick Spoon fish 152

OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM  1 TO 10:  7

OVERALL COMMENTS: Very fast base which seamlessly held a great edge, although I felt that it lost stability on steeper pitch

RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 5:     5

SHAPE COMMENT: Classic

RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 5:     4

FLEX COMMENT: Seemed great torsionally with a nose that didn’t rattle out in chatter

RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS:    4

STABILITY THROUGH TURNS: Epic until I entered a steeper run. But honestly this could be due to the way I set it up. My stance was about an inch narrower, although, I still feel that the lack of much tail at all may have made the board less stable

RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 5:    5

GRAPHICS COMMENT: Timeless style, looked like a rad Almond surfboard

RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 5:    3

COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS: It’s a turning board, no real pop here. Played great in low angle turning

RATE FLOAT IN POW IF AVAILABLE FROM 1 TO 5:    3

COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: Not applicable

ANYTHING YOU WOULD CHANGE ABOUT THIS BOARD TO MAKE IT BETTER:  I think this board is great for what it was designed for, Niseko powder. All in all it was super fun to test such am art piece!
