Description
TESTER: Mikey Franco
BOARD: NeverSummer Mountain Slayer 59
OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM 1 TO 10: 9
OVERALL COMMENTS: Great board, NS and Jay Moore!s
RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 5: 5
SHAPE COMMENT: I’m not a twin kinda guy but this board rocked.
RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 5: 4
FLEX COMMENT: reliable, predictable and playful at the same time. Tight sidecut and some torsional flex enabled a playful turn while maintaining a solid platform.
RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS: 4
STABILITY THROUGH TURNS: Stable, powerful
RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 5: 3
GRAPHICS COMMENT: Graphics are nice but I am a “less is more” kinda guy.
RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 5: 4
COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS: The carbon in the tip/tail give it a ton of pop and return. Maybe a little much for my style of riding but I get it.
RATE FLOAT IN POW IF AVAILABLE FROM 1 TO 5: 3
COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: I am partial to pow shapes so I am going to say a moderate float on dense snow and probably not super great on deep, dry days.
