Description

TESTER: Mikey Franco

BOARD: Niche Pyre 155

OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM  1 TO 7:  5

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: The ethos behind the brand. The shape was fun and has potential.

WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: It felt like it had a bad tune, maybe edge high. Fun to ride off piste but on hard snow the board felt super catchy.

OVERALL COMMENTS: Solid direction/shape but the tune seemed off.

RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 7:  OK

SHAPE COMMENT: NOT JUST GOOD BUT GOOD ENOUGH

ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS:  I think the nose shapes are beautiful but too blunt for the best float.

RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 7:   OK

FLEX COMMENT:  JUST RIGHT

ADDITIONAL FLEX COMMENT:  I like the flex pattern, torsionally fun to steer, solid on edge.

RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS FROM 1 TO 7:   OK

STABILITY COMMENT: PRETTY GOOD

ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: Seemingly stable at speed.

RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 7:  5

COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:

RATE FLOAT IN POW FROM 1 TO 7:

COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: OK

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: Float was good but worried if it was much deeper or lighter there would not be enough lift from the nose.

RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 7:  OK

GRAPHICS COMMENT: OK

ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS:

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY: You are creating an ethos that the rest of us should aspire to.
