Description
TESTER: Max Raymer
BOARD: Nitro Banker 159
TEST YEAR: 2019 SHAPERSUMMIT SNOWBOARD REVIEWS
OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM 1 TO 7: 5
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: It floated really easily and it was super nimble, so in deep pow it was still super easy to control while staying afloat. It also ripped chunder and tight spots to get into.
WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: torsional flex
OVERALL COMMENTS: Sick board, ripped everything I put it up against. Tail wasn’t too stiff so it was super easy to pop it around and take it where u wanted.
BOARD STYLE: FREERIDE BOARD
CONDITIONS TESTED IN: HARDPACK ICE POWDER
RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 7: 7
SHAPE COMMENT: AT THING OF BEAUTY
ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS: blunted tips look so good, but not too dramatic.
RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 7: 5
FLEX COMMENT: JUST RIGHT
ADDITIONAL FLEX COMMENT: for this board it’s perfect. I probably would have done better on a smaller size in this board but they only make a 59. I would have been able to man handle a 57 a little more probably.

ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: CAMBER
RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 7: 5
COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS: PRETTY DARN FUN

RATE FLOAT IN POW FROM 1 TO 7: 7
COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: EFFORTLESSLY FLOATY
ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: Camber and a little longer nose goes a long way in the pow

GRAPHICS COMMENT: I’M FEELING IT
ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS: The pink with the navy blue looks so good.
