TESTER: Eric Odlin
BOARD: Nitro Quiver series Cannon 173 173
OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM 1 TO 10: Radical (10)
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: The way it made me feel, which was AMAZING.
WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Nothing. Seriously, I loved it and must own one. It was so fun and rippable. It carved and jumped and slashed and yes, it could even be ridden switch. Not twin tip switch, but more-than-acceptable swallowtail switch was very doable. Loved it.
OVERALL COMMENTS: Yes please. There were other boards I liked better, but this board gave me the best feelies hands down. It may have been the pinkness but I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time on this swally was on my feet. Cant wait to own one.
RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 7: RADICAL
SHAPE COMMENT: FUN TO LOOK AT
ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS: Very traditional looking swallow tail with mild taper (not sure how much).
RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 7: RADICAL
FLEX COMMENT: JUST RIGHT
ADDITIONAL FLEX COMMENT: Very soft nose, but solid underfoot and through the tail. Torsionally just right fer ripping.
RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS: 6
STABILITY COMMENT: PRETTY GOOD
ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: Quite stable at speed. Was fun on groomers hauling arse.
RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 7: RADICAL
COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:
ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS: Rode like a 160! Light and easy to manhandle if needed. Im 6’4″, 200# and it was plenty enough for me, but many shorter and lighter riders said the same thing: very playful.
RATE FLOAT IN POW FROM 1 TO 7: RADICAL
COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: EFFORTLESSLY FLOATY
ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: YUGE nose stays up, swally tail goes down. This is the OG powder shape for a reason.
RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 7: RADICAL
GRAPHICS COMMENT: I’M FEELING IT
ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS: The Pinkness, It made me happy. Also theres a Giraffe.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY: I think everyone who rode this board gave it a nickname. Mine was, The Dream Creamer.
