WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: EVERYTHING

WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: I would like a bigger size, maybe a 149 or 150

OVERALL COMMENTS: I got on this board and was instantly smitten. This thing rips. Pow. Hardpack. Mank. The shape and taper is perfect. The nose shape is on point. Width is perfect for my size feet. Base is black – she’s a fast b – and that’s very important to me. It also makes it easier to tell what you’re doing while waxing. I was super stoked and party lapping with friends while testing the Tantra. I jumped off something bigger than usual to flat that I usually wouldn’t. I would usually never land something that big to flat, but I somehow stuck it! This board left a lasting impression. A little heavy and stiff, a smaller size might just be the way to go. But the Tantra earned daily driver status in my book. It’s easily maneuverable and is quick edge to edge and it’s edgehold is solid. It can do anything. It rails through anything and is so fast and is beefier than a drive through rural Wisconsin. I need it . People have told me that Wintersticks have changed their lives- that it’s not like riding a snowboard, but something different. This was my first Winterstick experience and I understand what they mean now.

SHAPE COMMENT: AT THING OF BEAUTY

ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS:  It is the perfect shape, reminiscent of the Salomon Pillowtalk- which is my daily driver

FLEX COMMENT:  JUST RIGHT

ADDITIONAL FLEX COMMENT:  maybe too stiff for someone who would usually ride a 146, but I felt great on the 146, when usually it would feel too small and unstable

RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS FROM 1 TO 7:  7

STABILITY COMMENT: ROCK SOLID- AS GOOD AS IT GETS

ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: Felt stable the whole ride, in all different snow conditions. Powered through everything.

RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 7:  7

COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS: PRETTY DARN FUN

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:  the 146 was playful and poppy for me, despite its stiffness for it’s size. If I were to ride a 150 in this board I would want it to be less stiff; to be bigger but more playful

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: just stays above it all. You don’t even think about it.

GRAPHICS COMMENT: AESTHETIC AND INSPIRING

ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS: Sick. Love the white and bright color combo. Not too girly, but just colorful enough.
