World Boards Pow Slayer 165 Snowboard Review 2019-2020
Description
TESTER: Eric Odlin
BOARD: World Boards Pow Slayer 165
TEST YEAR: 2019 SHAPERSUMMIT SNOWBOARD REVIEWS
OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM 1 TO 7: 6
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Its ability to rip though variable terrain and snow. Also not too wide for its size.
WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Its wasn’t too nimble, but then again neither am I anymore…..
OVERALL COMMENTS: This was my second year demoing this deck at Jackson. Its has become the go-to board for me when my legs are failing and I need some additional power underfoot. The stiffer nose tells crud to ‘eff’ off, and the soft tail makes you think its not as stiff and pissed as one would assume. And Alan won the rally on it. So if its a cambered directional free ride machine you seek, this be it.
BOARD STYLE: FREERIDE BOARD
CONDITIONS TESTED IN: HARDPACK POWDER
RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 7: 5

COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: OK
ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: Seemed to float well in the pockets I found, but maybe a touch more early rise in the nose for open pow.
RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 7: 5
GRAPHICS COMMENT: OK
ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS: Simple top, pirate sword base.
