Description

TESTER: Knut Carter

BOARD: Libtech Mayhem 145

OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM  1 TO 10:  Radical (10)

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Playfulness

WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Riding switch was a little hard.

OVERALL COMMENTS: Really fun on all terrain. It was shop easy to turn and find bumps to jump off. The length and width made it easy to find any little landing. I really like the mellow magnatraction. Turns were effortless with no worries of catching.

RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 7:  RADICAL

SHAPE COMMENT: AT THING OF BEAUTY

ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS:  It’s amazing how the short wide shape feels so good. It’s so fast edge to edge. Hardly feels like you have a board on your feet.

RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 7:   RADICAL

FLEX COMMENT:  JUST RIGHT

ADDITIONAL FLEX COMMENT:  Seemed fairly stiff because of the width, but the short running length made it so playful.

RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS:   RADICAL

STABILITY COMMENT: ROCK SOLID- AS GOOD AS IT GETS

ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: The width and wide nose make for great stability in all terrain. The short tail kept it up in powder. It was surprisingly stable going fast on groomers.

RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 7:  RADICAL

COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:  Perfect combo of pop and playfulness. It felt like I was strapped in to the most stable skateboard. One of the most playful and easy to ride boards I’ve been on. I could pop off every bump out there and land on the smallest landings.

RATE FLOAT IN POW FROM 1 TO 7:    RADICAL

COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: EFFORTLESSLY FLOATY

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: Amazingly floaty with how short it is. Perfect design with the width, length and short tail to float. Tight trees in powder were so much fun.

RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 7:  RADICAL

GRAPHICS COMMENT: AESTHETIC AND INSPIRING

ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS: Jaime Lynn art is beautiful. I like the subtle graphics on this board.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY: Over 20 years of pro models from Jaime Lynn shows why lib keeps Mr Lynn designing boards in this design. One of the finest boards I’ve ridden. Maybe the best at finding jumps and landings through moguls. So playful and easy to move around. I couldn’t believe the pop it has with such a short tail.
