Description

TESTER: Knut Carter

BOARD: Libtech Mc wayfinder 153

OVERALL IMPRESSION FROM  1 TO 10:  Radical (10)

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Surfy unique feeling

WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD?: Hard to ride switch

OVERALL COMMENTS: This board was very different from most powder boards. The wide nose made it floaty on any condition. The nose was solid on bumps unlike some pow boards. Big open turns on hard snow felt great at high speeds. It felt like the radius at the tail came out fast which made the short tail easy to turn and land on.

RATE THE SHAPE FROM 1 TO 7:  RADICAL

SHAPE COMMENT: AT THING OF BEAUTY

ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS:  Very different than most powder boards. The wide nose felt stable and the tail perfect sidecut.

RATE THE FLEX FROM 1 TO 7:   RADICAL

FLEX COMMENT:  JUST RIGHT

ADDITIONAL FLEX COMMENT:  It felt like front and rear had different flex to make it feel like your feet could move like on a surfboard.

RATE STABILITY THROUGH TURNS:   RADICAL

STABILITY COMMENT: ROCK SOLID- AS GOOD AS IT GETS

ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENTS: Really stable on variable terrain. The tail didn’t wash out at all. The wide nose kept you upright and charging

RATE THE POP/ PLAYFULNESS FROM 1 TO 7:  RADICAL

COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON PLAYFULNESS:  Tons of pop for having a short tail. The short length made it very playful yet stable with the wide nose.

RATE FLOAT IN POW FROM 1 TO 7:    RADICAL

COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: EFFORTLESSLY FLOATY

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FLOAT IN POW: It had snowed about 4 inches by the time I road this board. This board made it feel deeper and really fun. When I got in the trees in over a foot of un touched pow I could tell it would be hard to sink the nose. Slight movements made it turn very smoothly in the pow.

RATE THE GRAPHICS FROM 1 TO 7:  RADICAL

GRAPHICS COMMENT: AESTHETIC AND INSPIRING

ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENTS: Best graphics to describe how a board feels.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY: I can’t wait to ride one again
