NITRO DROP SNOWBOARD REVIEW 2018-2019

Description

TESTER: Micah Anderson
BOARD BRAND: Nitro
MODEL NAME: drop
SIZE: 146
OVERALL IMPRESSION: RADICAL
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD? How reliable the board is. Most boards you just hop on take a couple turns to try and figure out the camber/ feel, not this board. You can just hop on it and rip, it feels as if you’re on your own board and ready to take on anything.
WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOARD? That I don’t own it. The colors for the graphic are a bit funky, not my style BUT thats such a minor thing.
OVERALL COMMENTS: This board was by far my favorite at the powwow! It was almost bad because one I got on the thing it was the only thing I really wanted to take out, even over my own board. It is super smooth and effortless in pow and just cruises groomers/ all mountain.
BOARD STYLE: POWDER BOARD, FREERIDE BOARD

CONDITIONS TESTED IN: HARDPACK, POWDER

RATE THE SHAPE (1 TO 7): RADICAL
SHAPE COMMENTS: AT THING OF BEAUTY
ADDITIONAL SHAPE COMMENTS: The look of the camber initially made me nervous but you can’t feel the funky camber at the tail at all while riding.
RATE THE FLEX (1 TO 7): RADICAL
FLEX COMMENTS: JUST RIGHT
RATE THE STABILITY (1 TO 7): RADICAL
STABILITY COMMENTS: ROCK SOLID- AS GOOD AS IT GETS
ADDITIONAL STABILITY COMMENT: Was never second guessing it or getting tossed.
RATE THE POP/PLAYFULNESS (1 TO 7): RADICAL
POP/ PLAYFULNESS COMMENTS: WICKED POPPY AND PLAYFUL
RATE THE FLOAT IN POWDER (1 TO 7)): RADICAL
RATE THE FLOAT IN POWDER (1 TO 7): EFFORTLESSLY FLOATY
RATE THE GRAPHICS (1 TO 7): 6
RATE THE GRAPHICS COMMENT: OK
ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS COMMENT: It’s different which is cool but looks like cotton candy.
